GP2Y1010AU0F is an optical air quality sensor, designed to sense dust particles. An infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor are diagonally arranged into this device, to allow it to detect the reflected light of dust in air. It is especially effective in detecting very fine particles like cigarette smoke and is commonly used in air purifier systems.
The sensor has a very low current consumption (20mA max, 11mA typical), and can be powered with up to 7VDC. The output of the sensor is an analogue voltage proportional to the measured dust density, with a sensitivity of 0.5V/0.1mg/m3.

This PR12-2DN Proximity Sensor generates an electromagnetic field to sense metal objects. It features built-in sensitivity volume and provides no-touch object detection. PR12-2DN Proximity Sensor uses a magnetic field to detect objects. Capacitive sensors use an electric field. To be sensed by an inductive sensor, an object must be conductive.
This limits suitable targets to metal objects (for the most part). To be sensed by a capacitive sensor, the target doesn't need to be conductive. A capacitive sensor will react to an object acting as a dielectric material as well as a conductive object. This makes metal and non-metal objects suitable targets.

This SW-520D Tilt Switch can easily be used to detect orientation. Inside the can is a ball that makes contact with the pins when the case is upright. Please use a low-voltage soldering iron and connect it to a reliable grounding. This device is sensitive to ESD and it may be damaged during soldering. The IF output of the HB100 module is especially sensitive. You can check it for damage using a multimeter in diode mode. The forward voltage drop between IF and GND should be about 0.25 V.
