The TEC1-12703 30x30mm Thermoelectric Cooler 3A Peltier Module is the simple application of the Peltier Thermoelectric Effect. The module features 127 semiconductor couples in the area of 30 mm x 30 mm. Thermoelectric coolers also known as TEC or Peltier Module create a temperature differential on each side. One side gets hot and the other side gets cool.

Therefore, they can be used to either warm something up or cool something down, depending on which side you use. You can also take advantage of a temperature differential to generate electricity. This Peltier works very well as long as you remove the heat from the hot side. After turning on the device, the hot side will heat quickly, the cold side will cool quickly.

If you do not remove the heat from the hot side (with a heat sink or other device), the Peltier will quickly reach stasis and do nothing. We recommend using an old computer CPU heatsink or another metal block to pull heat from the hot side. We were able to use a computer power supply and CPU heatsink to make the cold side so uncomfortable we could not hold our finger to it.

The 300W DC-DC Buck Converter Module can be used to get adjustable output voltage ranges from 1.2V to 36V. The module provides a wide range of current output up to 20 A. With the heat sink mounted 300W DC-DC Buck Converter can easily manage to run high-power applications continuously (provided that for continuous high-power output, you need to use a cooling fan on the heat sink). The 300W DC-DC Buck Converter is made from a dedicated benchmark IC and high-precision current sensing resistor, proving a more stable constant current, (when 20°C to 100°C constant current 1A, temperature drifts less than 1%); therefore it is particularly most suitable for LED driver applications. The output current of the 300W DC-DC Buck Converter can be raised to 20A(for continuous use it is recommended up to 15A with an additional cooling fan).

To enhance the stabilization in output voltage there are six high-frequency capacitances which give a lower output ripple. The double heat sink design provides easy and fast heat dissipation. MOS Schottky diode independent heat sink, which heat dissipation is good, and won’t affect each other. Also using large-size Sendust Core and double pure copper wiring improves working efficiency, and reduces fever. The 300W DC-DC Buck Converter has onboard 3296 multiturn potentiometers for high-accuracy voltage and current regulation to provide good stability. As voltage and current are adjustable, the 300W DC-DC Buck Converter is very easy to use for multiple applications such as battery charging, LED Driver power supply, Vehicle Power Supply, etc.
